Men Do Care

We want to encourage more men to join the caring professions. This is a growth sector, with more jobs every year.

Men Do Care is a collaboration between the University of Lancashire, Lancashire County Council, Lancashire and South Cumbria Foundation Trust, East Lancashire Hospitals and Blackburn and Darwen Council.

We want to encourage more men to join the caring professions, so that there is better representation and diversity in these roles. This will help services to reflect the people they serve. It will also provide positive male role models, which can lead to further social change.

Health, social care and social work are all growing sectors. A career in these roles can be incredibly fulfilling, as well as financially rewarding.
