Parents, carers and guardians hub

Study

Our hub provides everything you need to help you guide your child through university. We offer help and advice for their application, supporting their studies, finance and more.

We'll cover everything from the very first steps of application right through to your child's time studying with us.

Preparing for university

The very first step for anyone attending university is deciding what you want to study. This decision can be much easier for some people than it does others - and that's perfectly fine. A lot of young people aren't sure what they want to be in an ever-changing world.

There's also quite a bit to know about student finance, budgeting and accommodation.

We've put together some articles to try help with that. We recommend reading through these articles with your child if you get the chance; they're written for students, but the information inside is perfect for parents, carers and guardians too.

In Year 13, your child will need to start applying to universities. Take a look at our timeline below for key dates. This includes deadlines for submitting an application, applying for a student loan, accepting an offer and more.
