Build the creative and technical skills to bring your vision to life on our Film and Screen courses. Our excellent facilities and hands-on approach blend theory and practical learning to make you industry-ready.

You'll also get various work experience opportunities, including screen credit bearing commercial projects.

You'll have access to a range of cutting-edge facilities. This includes our £15 million Media Factory, featuring a TV studio, editing suites, foley studio and soundstage. You'll also have access to our chroma key, cinema, podcast studio, a writer’s room, recording studios and virtual production volume. You'll be taught by our expert academics and technicians.

Postgraduate

You may choose to progress onto our MA Sports Media Production and MA Scriptwriting courses.

On our MA Sports Media Production course, you'll work on live sports broadcasts. You'll produce content for Sky TV and gain essential broadcast credits.

Our MA Scriptwriting course will prepare you for a career as a professional scriptwriter. You'll learn all about story structure, scene development characterisation, and dialogue.

What can I do with a film and screen degree?

Our Film and Screen courses prepare you for success in film, TV, radio and multimedia industries. Graduates have also gone on to work in other fields, such as marketing, journalism and print media.
