Sound Stage

The Sound Stage is an open “black box” space designed for the purpose of filming film, video, TV or motion capture footage.

The facility boasts an installed Chroma key green infinity curve and Virtual Production Kit. The Chroma key green infinity curve measures 5 metres wide by 5 metres tall. The curve is lit by Kino Flo™ TV lighting suspended from an overhead grid. Video and audio wiring back to the TV Studio Gallery is also provided.

Our Virtual Production Kit displays computer-generated environments, providing a realistic set location for filming. This allows students to capture immersive scenes in impressive locations, all within our studio walls.
