About the role:
We are looking to recruit a Senior Research Assistant to join the Lancashire Clinical Trials Unit to work with a team of experienced researchers, the post will contribute to strengthening and supporting the research area of health statistics, whilst further developing your own research skills and experience.
The post holder will contribute to all aspects of research in the area of health statistics, undertake the management of data relevant to designated projects for example, literature search and review, quantitative data collection, setting up data files, input/cleaning and analysis as per research protocols.
About you:
The post holder will have experience of working in health statistics, experience of quantitative data analysis and experience of undertaking quantitative methodologies research studies.
The successful candidate will have a good honours degree (2:1 or above) or equivalent, formal training in or study of statistics as part of a degree course and a Master’s degree or higher post-graduate qualification in related area.
The post holder will be IT literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, Statistical Software), have excellent oral and written communication skills and be self-motivated with the ability to motivate others.
