About the role:

Preston Sejong Institute is seeking to appoint an administrator to provide a secretarial service to the institute director. The post-holder will actively participate as a key member of Preston Sejong Institute team, contributing to all administrative duties associated with the role. Duties will include undertaking effective communication both internally and with external partners and stakeholders. Arrange and service meetings, prepare agendas, minute meetings, and distribute action plans. Contribute to the planning and hosting of Preston Sejong Institute Korean language and cultural programmes. 

As an important member of the Preston Sejong Institute team you will actively contribute to the effective operation of the institute and support a high-quality experience for students enrolled on the Korean language and cultural programmes we offer. Training and development will be provided as required by the King Sejong Foundation.

About you:

We are keen to appoint an individual who has experience of working in Korean studies or closely related subject area. You should have an undergraduate degree in relevant subject or closely related discipline. You need to have proficiency in Korean speaking and writing, good communication and presentation skills. You should be highly motivated and enthusiastic, have good self-organisation skills, and be able to work effectively and efficiently as an individual and as a member of the team.
