About the role:

An exciting opportunity for a Lecturer in Occupational Therapy has arisen within the School of Health, Social Work, and Sport. The successful applicant will teach and lead modules on the pre-registration BSc, MSc, and degree apprenticeship in OT. The school is home to various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and CPD opportunities, both taught on campus and by distance learning. We are proud of our commitment to delivering courses and CPD opportunities with a strong research-, industry-, and practitioner-inspired teaching philosophy. 

About you:

The successful applicant will be a Registered Occupational Therapist with experience in Higher Education who possesses a flexible and innovative approach to teaching and learning and will support the delivery of pre-registration Occupational Therapy programmes. The successful applicant will also contribute to the teaching, learning, and assessment of Occupational Therapy-related subjects at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. 

You must have an undergraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) with relevant teaching and practitioner experience. Applicants need to meet all essential criteria on the person specification to be considered for interview. This position is based at the University's main campus in Preston, Lancashire.
