Celebrate World Anatomy Day with hands-on activities, digital tools, and fun anatomy games. We welcome children, families, and aspiring healthcare students to take part in our World Anatomy Day event at our Burnley Campus.
Hosted by our School of Medicine and Dentistry, we are thrilled to announce our upcoming World Anatomy Day event this fall. Join us at our public outreach event on Saturday, 18th, 2025, in VM119 and VM132 at Burnley Campus, where you'll take part in a variety of engaging activities.
On the day, the event will include two attendee groups, and will be structured as follows:
- 10-12am group
- 12-1pm break
- 1-3pm group
During the break you'll also get the chance to explore Newtown Mill on a guided tour.
The interactive activity stations will be led by our staff and trained BMedSci student volunteers. You'll get to learn hands-on with anatomy models, microscopes and digital apps. It will also include creative workshops suitable for children aged 6–12 and families.
The event is open to the public and we welcome families, children and aspiring healthcare students to attend.
