- You’ll work in a studio with facilities like wood and plaster workshops, textiles workshops, digital design equipment and more.
- Once you have successfully completed your foundation year, you are guaranteed progression onto one of our art or media courses.
What you’ll do
- You can explore a number of different subjects, including fine art, fashion design, textile design, photography and more.
- You'll work on a number of projects, giving you the opportunity to try different specialisms in greater depth.
- You'll be part of a community of creatives. Meet people with different interests and discover new ways of working.
Modules

The fundamentals taught during my foundation year have empowered me to exhibit globally, become a specialist printmaking technician at UCLan and to a full ESRC PhD scholarship in Architecture.

Entry requirements
We will consider your educational achievements, predicted grades, work experience and personal statement. If you don't meet the grades for your chosen course, we will consider you for other programmes.

Minimum qualifications:
- UCAS: 48 points at A2
- BTEC Extended Diploma: PPP
- BTEC Diploma: MP
- Pass Access Course: 48 UCAS points
- International Baccalaureate Diploma: Pass including 48 points from Higher Level subjects
- T Level: P (D or E)
- IELTS: grade 6.0 with no subscore lower than 5.5
- GCSEs: 5 at Grade C/4 including Maths and English or equivalent
