Join us on Saturday 20 June 2026 for an immersive Open Day experience at the School of Veterinary Medicine.

Discover life as a veterinary student

During your visit, you can:

  • Explore our purpose built facilities through guided tours of teaching spaces, labs and clinical learning facilities.
  • Take part in bespoke sessions on digital anatomy, clinical skills and careers in animal health.
  • Learn more about extra-mural studies (EMS) and intra-mural (IMR) placements.
  • Meet staff from our partner veterinary practices to understand how we collaborate with the profession.
  • Ask questions about the admissions process with our expert team.

You’ll also have the chance to connect with our academic staff and chat to current students. This will give you first-hand insight into life as a veterinary medicine student at the University of Lancashire.
