Lancashire Day (Thursday 27 November) is a perfect opportunity for all those connected to the Red Rose County to celebrate the area’s great achievements.

The University of Lancashire plays a pivotal role in cultivating highly skilled graduates equipped to contribute effectively to the modern workforce.

In the last five years the University has successfully graduated:

  • More than 2,500 nurses and midwives
  • Nearly 4,000 engineers
  • 170 new dentists
  • 470 doctors
  • Approximately 2,000 police and criminal investigation professionals
  • More than 1,000 legal eagles
  • In the region of 740 journalists and media professionals
  • Almost 680 finance experts
  • In the region of 540 social workers
