About the role:

The University of Lancashire’s School of Engineering and Computing is seeking an experienced Teaching and Learning Projects Lead to lead and coordinate the development and delivery of our innovative curriculum transformation projects. This pivotal role will oversee the end-to-end project management of curriculum content creation, the redevelopment of teaching spaces and strategic engagement with the University’s Academic Quality Unit (AQU).

We are seeking a leader to drive curriculum development initiatives, including the creation of engaging digital content such as videos, interactive quizzes, and online learning materials. You will oversee the transformation of physical learning spaces to align with the new curriculum, act as the key liaison with the Academic Quality Unit to ensure compliance with academic standards, and collaborate with academic staff, technical teams, external partners, and students to co-create impactful learning experiences. This role involves facilitating workshops and feedback sessions to promote inclusive design, while sponsoring strategic projects that enhance the School’s academic portfolio and elevate the student experience.

About you:

We’re looking for an experienced professional with a proven track record in project management within higher education or curriculum development. You’ll bring expertise in leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing complex academic portfolios, alongside experience sponsoring capital projects in educational infrastructure. Educated to undergraduate degree in relevant subject area or equivalent experiential learning, you will also have an a solid understanding of academic quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and programme accreditation as well as familiarity with digital learning technologies and online content development. Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills are key to success in this role.
