About the role:

The University of Central Lancashire is committed to supporting and developing the economic and social wellbeing of our communities and businesses through education and training. The successful post-holders will engage with business-owners, managers and community groups to develop effective and profitable relationships to promote professional (CPD) short-courses, degree apprenticeships (DA), Knowledge Transfer Partnerships and other work-force development opportunities that will serve to maintain and advance the competitive capability of the regional workforce. 

About you:

We are looking for a team player with excellent communication and negotiation skills who can contribute to shared-goals, exercise judgment and initiative, and work unsupervised. Significant recent business development, sales and/or marketing experience is essential. The successful applicant will be educated to degree level or with the equivalent experiential learning, supported by experience of developing and implementing new processes and data management and processing. Utilising excellent organisational skills the successful applicant will have a proven ability to work consistently under pressure, prioritise work and meet deadlines.
