About the role:
Our friendly Course Enquiries team are the first point of contact for prospective students exploring their university options. The team play a key role in guiding enquirers from their first contact with the university through to admissions and course enrolment, whilst delivering an outstanding customer experience every step of the way.
Through excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and a passion for helping, the team are able to advise and support prospective students to find the right course to help them achieve their career aspirations.
About you:
The Course Enquires team are core part of Admissions based within the Academic Registry Service. As a service, we strive to provide an exceptional experience for students, staff and external stakeholders as the work we do spans the full student journey from point of enquiry right through to graduation. The Course Enquiries team also work closely with the Student Recruitment team to ensure we offer consistent advice and guidance on the University’s course portfolio, alongside gathering and sharing insights from prospective students and from across the sector.
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused individual with proven experience in delivering tailored support across a range of communication channels including phone, email, and face-to-face. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of student needs within Higher Education, maintain confidentiality, and thrive in a busy office environment. You will be highly organised, IT proficient, and accurate in data handling, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet service standards. A collaborative team player who can also work independently, you’ll be sensitive to diverse backgrounds and committed to continuous improvement. Applicants will be educated to A level or equivalent or able to evidence substantial transferrable work experience.
