Important dates for international applicants

Please view our admission deadlines for international applicants below. Please note that some courses may close early once they reach capacity. We strongly recommend applying as soon as possible to secure your place.

English language entry requirements

Some courses may have higher English language requirements than listed below. These are only indicative.

  • Undergraduate: IELTS 6.0 with no component below 5.5.
  • Undergraduate for BVMS, MBBS and Dentistry: IELTS 7.0.
  • Postgraduate taught: IELTS 6.0 with no component below 5.5.
  • Postgraduate research: IELTS 6.5 with no component below 6.0.
English language entry requirements

Improving your English language skills

Our Language Academy can help you to improve your English language skills. This can help you meet the entry requirements for your course. You will study on the programme for between six and 30 weeks, depending on your language level. Once you have passed the Pre-Sessional programme at the required grade, you can proceed on to your chosen university course. This is taught at our Preston campus.
