How our agents can help
Choosing to where to study in the UK is an important decision. Some students use the services of an education agent when applying to us.
Education agents provide a range of services to support you - from finding the right university and course to guiding you through the application and enrolment process. They can also assist with visa applications, travel, and accommodation arrangements.
If you are considering using an education agent, we recommend reading the student and parent guide to choosing an education agent. This is an important part of the UK Agent Quality Framework (AQF).
The guide provides you and your family with clear information and guidance on what you should look for when considering using an agent. It includes key questions to ask, signs of quality, and how to avoid poor practices. The guide also links to ‘The national code of ethical practice for UK education agents’ and the British Council’s UK database of certified counsellors.

We are committed to the UK Agent Quality Framework. This sets clear standards for the international agencies we work with.
Please note, international agencies and representatives are paid commission for their services, with the exception of the United States or representatives working with students receiving US federal loans.
We recommend that you ask about any service charges and expectations in advance of working with an agency.
If you work with an agency, they will be given full access to the data you provide in your application. They will also be given permission to discuss all aspects of your application with us. Please note that once an application has been submitted through an authorised representative, we are unable to transfer or reassign that application to a different representative. Students should therefore carefully consider their choice of agent before applying.
