The University's pharmacy students will be offering free health checks for the public as part of the national Ask Your Pharmacist campaign in November.
The University of Central Lancashire is offering free public health checks in November.
Taking place on Thursday 6th November, final year pharmacy students will be available on the Preston Campus to check the height, weight, body mass index (BMI), blood pressure and oxygen saturation levels of members of the public.
As part of the national Ask Your Pharmacist campaign, the undergraduates will also offer general health advice too.
The annual event run by the School of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences, which will run from 9am to 5pm in the Foster Social Space, allows students to interact with patients and gain essential hands-on experience while being supported by registered pharmacist.
Our second year students will also be running health promotions stalls, so come along to the event for advice on multiple health promotion topics.
