Cultural Intelligence (CQ) for Leadership and Management

Course overview

The training will be run by senior experts in intercultural training from across the University. Each day will consist of five hours of workshops tailored to the company’s needs delivered either at the University campus or at a company location.

The training has a modular structure adaptable to your needs:

• At the Introductory level, you'll gain an understanding of cultural intelligence from both a theoretical and practical point of view. You'll carry out a self-assessment of your own CQ and improve your cultural awareness and bias recognition.
• At the Applied level, you'll learn how to identify and adapt to cultural styles in leadership and teamwork. You'll build skills in managing cross-cultural conflicts constructively. You'll also learn how to design policies and workflows that accommodate cultural diversity. There will be other sector-specific sessions available to attend, including healthcare. education and finance.
• At the Advanced level, you'll take part in immersive scenario-based role-play exercises. You'll take a deep dive into regional business cultures, such as East-Asian, Türkiye, Russia and Central Asia cultures. You'll learn about inclusive leadership, build intercultural negotiation skills and your strategic thinking.
