Some clients require more complex care because, in addition to sudden emergencies or worsened conditions, they also have an underlying health issue causing the acute problem. This could be kidney, heart, lung, brain, or chest-related conditions.

The aim of this course is to critically explore and analyse the acute and specialist on-going care provided for patients being cared for in Cardiac care environments.
