Vice-Chancellors Award for Excellence
Ashleigh Thompson

Ashleigh volunteers with the Missing Persons Unit (MPU) which is managed by the School of Law and Policing within the university. The MPU engages students in applying their digital investigation skills to real-world missing person cases.

Collaborating with organisations like Locate International, the unit offers valuable investigative experience to students while contributing to efforts in resolving missing persons cases.

When she first started volunteering at the MPU, Ashleigh was a Psychology student with an interest in crime and forensics. For more information about volunteering at the MPU, please email Ashleigh Thompson.

This award was presented to Ashleigh by Professor Andrew Ireland, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Student and Teaching).
