Dr Trishna Chauhan
Trishna teaches behavioural science for our medical degree programmes - MBBS and the Physicians Associate. With particular expertise in healthcare roles and systems, Trishna remains research active and continues to publish in a wide range of academic journals with a core focus on healthcare and behavioural change. In recognition of their contributions to teaching, Trishna is a Senior Teaching Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Trishna has an emerging track record of publications in a range of journals focusing on policy, behavioural change, medical education and public health. Using her expertise from this research, Trishna teaches first and second year medical students principles of behavioural science in the context of healthcare and medicine.
Trishna previously worked at the University of Liverpool as a lecturer in organisational studies after completing her PhD which was fully funded by the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR). In addition, Trishna has worked on various behavioural change consultancy projects with a range of high-profile stakeholders including:

- Mylan Pharmaceuticals
- Janssen Pharmaceuticals
- Swiss Re
- The Department and Health and Social Care
- Several NHS Trusts in the UK
To supplement her other academic roles, Trishna has completed the Diversifying Leadership qualification as accredited by the Advanced HE and is an Academic Member of the CIPD.
