- Rob has been working with clay for many years. Animal forms have been a significant source of inspiration for him since he was a child. Growing up in Norfolk in the 1970s and receiving a rather alternative early education, Rob spent many hours drawing, painting and making, which was often inspired by the animals both wild and domesticated, that were part of his childhood world.
- Through observation and employing a variety of hand building techniques, Robs work explores movement & presence of animals and how they relate to the human condition.
