Dr Jason Wragg
Dr. Jason Wragg is the Course Leader for the BA Leadership through Outdoor Adventure programme at the University of Lancashire. His expertise lies in fieldwork and expeditions, and he has led and collaborated on international projects, including expeditions to Iceland, Greece, Africa, and the USA.
A Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and the Higher Education Academy, Dr. Wragg’s research focuses on adventure and overland travel, motorcycle travel, and creative research methods, including autoethnography.
Jason has organised a number of international collaborative events and expeditions including Iceland and the USA. He was a consultant for the British Exploring Society and supported the development of the 'Compass Learning' tool to measure learning outcome during educational expeditions. He is also a committee member of the Overland Guides Association.
