Dr Hae-Sung Jeon
Lecturer in Psychology School of Psychology and Humanities

Hae-Sung is a linguist-cognitive psychologist specialising in speech communication. Her research centres on speech prosody—the melody, timing, and tonal qualities of voice—as well as phonetic variation in multimodal communication.
Hae-Sung also does interdisciplinary work across speech sciences, cognitive psychology, and socio linguistics involves intensive data analysis with applications spanning language education, communication strategy development, acoustics, and language technology.
