About the role:

This role sits within the Marketing directorate, whose mission is to promote the aims of objectives of the University of Lancashire, support its recruitment efforts, and ultimately inform and inspire the next generation of prospective students. 

As a member of the Market Insight team, you will help to enable evidence-based decision-making across the University, through the careful analysis, interpretation and communication of a range of sources, such as application, enrolment, and labour market data. You will play an active and pivotal role in helping to shape the University's course portfolio as part of an ongoing strategic project. You will also respond to a variety of insight-related requests from across the organisation as required.

This role will work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager, Director of Marketing, and key colleagues across the academic Schools to deliver engaging and impactful insight. 

About you:

You will have demonstrable experience in planning and executing projects involving complex and varied sources of quantitative data, with a track record of generating actionable insights that result in effective change. You will have a curious mind, an ability to interpret a brief and devise an appropriate solution, with a meticulous eye for detail. This is a collaborative role, so you will be comfortable in engaging with key colleagues and stakeholders to help achieve your objectives. You will also be be able to convey your output in a clear, concise and captivating manner. Applicants will need to have an undergraduate degree or equivalent or significant relevant professional experience.
