About the role:

The School of Medicine and Dentistry has an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Restorative Dentist to join its Clinical academic team. Working predominantly with postgraduate students, you will take responsibility for academic teaching and leadership in Restorative Dentistry across all postgraduate courses.

You will work closely with the Program Leads and Postgraduate Lead in a collaborative setting, the postholder will provide oversight, quality management, assurance and evaluation of the Restorative Dentistry curriculum for the DClinDent and MSc programmes in Endodontology, Prosthodontics, Periodontology and Implantology.

About you:

We require the postholder to have comprehensive experience in specialist practice of Restorative Dentistry in a hospital, clinic, or university, along with experience in teaching within a dental setting.

A full current registration with the General Dental Council as a specialist in Restorative Dentistry and a clinical qualification indicating Restorative specialism in Clinical Dentistry are essential for this role. you will also need to have a formal teaching qualification or willingness to undertake within 2 years of appointment.
