About the role:

The postholder will be responsible for supporting the planning and day to day delivery of one of the MBBS Year 5 teaching blocks focused on Evidence Synthesis research skills. The postholder will contribute to teaching and will also work on the BEST guideline and review production units extensive portfolio of evidence synthesis research projects, including international and national guidelines, systematic reviews, and other related projects, as well as contributing to the group’s grant and funding applications for areas of clinical research interest.

About you:

The successful post holder will have relevant experience in an academic environment, proven ability to work both on own initiative and as part of team with a successful record of working to deadlines along with a flexible, innovative approach to teaching.

An undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject and a PhD or near completion in a relevant area are essential requirements of this role.

The post holder will work mainly at the Burnley campus, but some attendance at Preston campus may also be required.
