About the role:

The School of Medicine and Dentistry wishes to appoint an Assessment Operations Lead to lead on all operational aspects within the School by supporting assessment policies, processes and procedures. 

You will lead the assessment team within the School of Medicine and Dentistry to maintain academic standards and ensure the smooth delivery of assessments in the school. You will also be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of clinical practical assessments, providing specialist advice and guidance on online examination and supporting with ‘standard setting’ meetings. 

About you:

The successful candidate will have significant experience working on assessment in a Higher Education or equivalent environment and knowledge of assessment and examination processes. You will need negotiating and influencing skills, along with experience of leading and motivating teams. 

An undergraduate degree or equivalent experiential learning is required for this role. 

Additional information:

The post is based at the Preston and Burnley campuses with occasional trips to the Westlakes campus.
