The Residence Abroad conference is a one-day event sharing experiences and good practice for overseas residence abroad.

This one-day conference explores all aspects of global student mobility. The conference provides a platform for academic and professionals involved in study abroad to share expertise, experience and practice.

You'll get the chance to meet with professional service providers across a wide range of organisations who facilitate global opportunities. As an academic, you can expect to understand more about what students need pre and post-residence abroad, answering questions like 'what factors make a residence abroad successful?'

We also hope to have an opportunity to hear from alumni who have experienced residence abroad in a range of contexts.

Guest speakers

  • Dr Alex Baratta (University of Manchester)
