First Conference of the British Association of Korean Language Education (BAKLE)

The British Association of Korean Language Education (BAKLE) is a newly established academic organization dedicated to advancing the study and teaching of the Korean language in the UK.

BAKLE was founded to provide a platform for collaboration, professional development and scholarly exchange.

This conference aims to bring together educators, researchers and professionals engaged in Korean language education and Korean Studies to foster academic exchange, discuss innovative methodologies and build a collaborative network for the advancement of Korean language education in the UK and beyond.

Conference Topics

We cover a wide range of topics related to Korean language education, including but not limited to:

  • Innovative pedagogies in Korean language education
  • Technology in language teaching and learning
  • Material development for Korean language instruction
  • Curriculum design for Korean programmes
