Full job description

As an apprentice, you will learn from highly experienced engineers and work on real projects that make a tangible impact. Your responsibilities will grow with your experience and may include:

Supporting the MEP team in the delivery of technical design services for projects across multiple sectors.
Assisting with client meetings, site surveys, and project progress reviews.
Producing high-quality design deliverables, including specifications, CAD drawings, and schedules.
Contributing to smaller projects independently, as your skills develop.
Using tools such as AutoCAD to support design work and documentation.
Collaborating with other disciplines to find smart, sustainable engineering solutions.

Company and Degree Apprenticeship requirements: Applicants are required to have:

GCSEs: 5 at grade C/4 including Maths and English or equivalent.

Plus, one of the following:

UCAS: 104 points at A2 including Maths and Physics or STEM at grade C.
Pass Access Course: 104 points including 15 level 3 credits in Maths and Physics or STEM at Merit.
BTEC Extended Diploma: DMM in Engineering including Maths units.
T Level: M including Maths and Physics

A full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role.

Considerations

Working Pattern:

Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. Hours may vary depending on the business's needs.

What We Are Looking For:

A genuine interest in mechanical or electrical engineering and how buildings function.
Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Familiarity with AutoCAD is desirable, and any previous on-site experience is a plus.
A full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential due to site visits.
