About the role:

As part of a team of experienced researchers in the Connect Centre in the School for Health, Social Work and Sport, the postholder will contribute to strengthening and supporting two domestic abuse research projects: (1) Evaluation of the Lancashire MARRAC Model; and (2) Policing Collective Coercion, whilst further developing their own research skills and experience.

Duties will include contributing to all aspects of research on the Evaluation of the Lancashire MARRAC Model; and Policing Collective Coercion projects and undertaking the collection and management of data relevant to these projects, including: literature searching and review, qualitative and quantitative data collection, setting up data files, input/cleaning and analysis as per research protocols.

About you:

We are looking for a Senior Research Assistant with experience of working in domestic abuse and policing, experience of producing written research reports and an understanding of ethical research governance. 

You will be IT literate and have excellent organisational skills with the ability to work in a team and organise your own workload. 

The successful candidate will have a good honours degree (2:1 or above) or equivalent along with a Master’s degree or higher post-graduate qualification in related area.
